[Scope of Application]: Although ozone exists in the atmosphere in very low concentrations, it is a primary cause of rubber cracking. This product simulates and intensifies atmospheric ozone conditions to study the effects of ozone on rubber and to provide a method for rapidly identifying and evaluating the ozone-aging resistance of rubber and the protective efficacy of antiozonants. Testing is conducted in accordance with standards such as GB/T 7762-2014 (Static strain test for ozone cracking resistance of vulcanized or thermoplastic rubber), GB/T 2951.21-2008 (Common test methods for insulating and sheathing materials of electric and optical cables), GB/T 11206-2009 (Rubber aging test—Surface cracking method), and other relevant standards.
[Test Modes]: Test modes are categorized as “static” or “dynamic” based on the specific testing method and standard. In static testing, the sample is either pre-stretched or placed directly into the test chamber. In dynamic testing, the sample is mounted on a fixture within the chamber and subjected to cyclic stretching, with a strain range of approximately 5% to 45% relative to the sample itself.
