[Scope of Application]: It is used to determine the crease recovery performance of fabrics. It is suitable for pure or blended fabrics made of cotton, wool, linen, silk, or chemical fibers, but not for fabrics that are exceptionally soft or prone to curling. During use, fabrics undergo deformation due to rubbing and bending, resulting in irregular creases that affect appearance and reduce the fabric’s performance in use. Consequently, crease recovery performance is a key indicator of fabric quality. This instrument employs the vertical crease recovery method to measure the extent to which a fabric recovers to its original state after being folded and subjected to pressure under specified conditions.
