[Scope of Application]：It is used to determine the bending properties of various textiles and non-woven fabrics.
[Test Method]：A rectangular specimen is placed on a horizontal platform with its long axis parallel to that of the platform. The specimen is advanced along the platform’s long axis so that it extends beyond the edge and bends under its own weight. The extension length is determined by the movement of a ruler; when the leading edge of the specimen passes the platform’s edge and touches an inclined plane set at an angle of 41.5°, 43°, or 45° to the horizontal, the extension length is equal to twice the bending length, allowing the bending length to be calculated.
