Gakushi Rubbing Color Fastness Tester
Model Number of YG(B)571JIS

[Instrument Name]: Gakushi Rubbing Color Fastness Tester
[Scope of Application]:
It is used for testing the dry and wet rubbing color fastness of colored fabrics (cotton, chemical fiber, blends, etc.) and leather. The specimen is secured onto a curved platform (Gakushin type); a weighted rubbing head presses against the specimen and moves in a reciprocating motion. The rating is determined based on the degree of staining on the rubbing cloth attached to the head. A microcontroller-based counter allows for the presetting of the number of rubbing cycles, with automatic stopping upon completion.
[Test Mode]: Gakushin type
[Relevant Standards]:
JIS L0801-2004 (General rules for color fastness tests), JIS L0823, JIS L1006, JIS L1084-2009 (Test methods for flocked fabrics), JIS K6328-1999 (Test methods for rubber-coated fabrics), JIS P8136 (Determination of abrasion resistance of paperboard), JIS L0849-2004 Type II (Gakushin type) (Test method for color fastness to rubbing), QB/T1646, etc.
